The Bulgarian telco operator and IT services provider Evolink will build a new generation Data Center in Sofia, Bulgaria. The company’s project was approved for co-financing by the Operational Programme "Development of the Competitiveness of the Bulgarian Economy" and it includes overall equipment of a Data Center with highest system redundancy and climate control efficiency.
The total planned investment is for over 2 Million EURO and the Data Center is expected to become operational within 18 months.
This is the second project of Evolink co-financed by the European Regional Development Funds following the project for investing in a large-scale cloud computing platform which the company is executing currently.
Thus Evolink moves another step up in the list of Bulgarian companies actively investing in research and development of new technologies and services with the successful use of the opportunities granted by the European Funds.
