Evolink leverages Veeam to enable Cloud backup & Disaster Recovery-as-a-Service (DRaaS) as part of a comprehensive data protection and availability strategy.

Veeam Cloud Connect Backup is a fast, flexible, and easy for deployment solution for customers who already utilize Veeam Backup & Replication to securely extend their backup infrastructure to Evolink cloud with a few simple clicks.
The service is provided directly trough Veeam backup console at customers site by adding Evolink cloud repositories in their backup infrastructure. Backups transfer securely over an SSL/TLS connection, using a single port. There’s no VPN, no separate console and cloud repositories work like other backup repositories — except they’re available even if the primary backup or data center is lost.
Apart from of-site backup replication, the service provides the customer with the possibility to create VM replicas on the cloud host on the Evolink side. It provides automated failover of specific virtual servers or entire IT infrastructure.
In addition to Cloud Connect Backup and Disaster Recovery as a Service, Evolink offers a complete Backup as a Service (BaaS) to its customers. In the BaaS scenario, the customer does not need to take part in deploying and managing backup infrastructure or be a current Veeam customer. Evolink takes responsibility for configuring backup infrastructure on the customer's side and performs all data protection and disaster recovery tasks.
